Delete your StepLink account

You can delete your StepLink account from inside the app. It is immediate and cannot be undone.

In the app

1. Open StepLink
2. Go to Settings → Account
3. Tap Delete Account and confirm

If you can't sign in

Email support@steplink.net from the address on the account and we will delete it for you.

What is deleted

• Your account and sign-in identity
• Your step history, daily and monthly goals
• Your group memberships, and any group where you were the only member
• Connections to Google Health, including the stored access, which is revoked
• Background sync records belonging to you

Groups you created with other members in them are handed to another member rather than deleted, so the people still in them keep their own history.

What is kept, and for how long

Nothing of yours is kept after deletion. Server logs that may mention a request are kept for up to 30 days for security and troubleshooting, then discarded.

Steps that other people in your groups walked are theirs, not yours, and stay with them.
